Meeting Objectives:
-Review marine biogeochemical and ecological issues relevant to climate.
-Discuss how ocean color can help address these issues.
-Identify ocean color products relevant to clumate change research.
-Define requirements for ocean color climate data records.
Processing, archiving and merging long-term data
products
Some of the questions to address are:
1) What will it take to merge NPP/VIIRS with SeaWiFS and MODIS
data?
2) What kind of in-orbit sensor characterization and calibration
will be needed?
3) What kind of field work do we need to support cal/val? Would
we need a long-term support program such as NASA SIMBIOS?
