- The CIOSS Year 5 1-Year No-Cost Extension Progress Report is now online, covering projects finishing during the period April 1, 2008 - March 31, 20009.
- The Calibration and Validation of Ocean Color Products for Coastal Waters Workshop was held at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center on March 31 - April 1, 2009. A summary of the meeting and presentations are now posted here.
- The SMILE Highschool Challenge Event was held at Western Oregon University and Oregon State University on April 16-17, 2009. The theme for this year's challenge was "Ocean Science: Microbes to Whales". Club activities are available on the web.
- A Chronology of CIOSS Activities (doc) has been made available detailing events from 2007 through the present. It can be found on the navigation bar under Reports & Publications.
- Select CIOSS Research projects are highlighted in PowerPoint pages for a NOAA Bulletin Board. The first page shows photos of the CIOSS Director, Program Specialist and local Council of Fellows, as well as the Research Themes. Other slides show projects from Themes 1 (COAST), 2 (wind speed) and 3 (ocean modeling).
